For our opening, Denzel Gargar and the team behind Provisions: a hospitality podcast spent the first 72 hours inside Paradise with us, from the final days of setting up the kitchen to the first customers through the door.

Jason talks through why fish and chips, and why now. For him it's the original Australian takeaway, and becoming a dad made him want to pass on the same Friday-night tradition he grew up with.

The film covers how the concept came together, what it means to honour takeaway culture properly, how the menu and supply chain work behind the counter, the pressure of opening day, fine-tuning the kitchen once the doors were open, and how Burleigh has welcomed us so far.
